Understanding Animals is pleased to have vet Jocelyn Toner as its resident pet behaviorist.

If you can't see a solution to your pet problem on UnderstandingAnimals.com, Jocelyn can see you in your own home for pet behaviour consultations.

She currently covers the East and South Hampshire and West Sussex areas, including Petersfield, Portsmouth, Chichester and Haselmere, although may be able to travel further on request. Travelling costs may be incurred for clients further afield.

Consultations last approximately 1 - 1.5 hours and should take place in the presence of the pet concerned and any members of your family who are directly involved with the problem. Following the consultation, Jocelyn will provide a written report summarising the topics discussed.

About Jocelyn

Jocelyn Toner is a practising veterinarian. She specialises in companion animal behaviour counselling and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton.

As the owner of a difficult rescue dog herself, who arrived on her doorstep complete with every behaviour problem ever identified, she is ideally placed to advise you on the practical aspects of understanding your animals, be they cats or dogs.
